Wall of Solidarity?

Feh. Charge them all.

In the wake of allegations that members of the men's lacrosse team gang-raped, sodomized and strangled a dancer at a March 13 party, Duke is facing community outrage and national media attention.

From a different article:

The woman who says she was raped last week by three members of the Duke University lacrosse team thought she would be dancing for five men at a bachelor party, she said Friday. But when she arrived that night, she found herself surrounded by more than 40.
Forty-six members of the men's lacrosse team submitted DNA samples Thursday in the unusual case. As of late Friday, there had been no arrests. Duke officials briefed university staff Friday on the allegations, and authorities vowed to crack the team's wall of solidarity.

The woman says that only 3 men raped her. They are testing 46 of the 47 because no one will come forward. If any of the tests come back positive, any lacrosse player who was present at that party should be charged. How they could just let men rape a woman without intervening sickens me. Bastards.

Oh, and they also yelled racial slurs at her. According to an eyewitness, one of them told her to "Thank your grandpa for my cotton shirt." Nice, huh?

Three white men rape a black woman while other white men allow it to happen. Sexism, racism, and classism. It really doesn't get more entitled than that. Like I said, charge them all. The woman deserves it. She deserves to see her rapists and those that let it happen in their presence pay for the consequences of their actions and their perceived privilege.

there is a saying... "hang 'em all and let g*d sort it out". i've never been particularly fond of the saying; however, this is a case that makes me understand where a saying like this might apply.

Ladies, did you know there are pictures of her too drunk to walk? How do we know if she was raped, or too drunk to know who is f'ing her?

The way feminism works is to take the children from the patriarch and poisen them with anit family and hateful rhetoric.
The statistics prove that 85% of criminals come from single mother households. The divorce rate was 10% and crime was low, survival was the name of the game. Then came bored housewives, upper middle class women, whose government agenda was putting women to work, and destroying the family. They used women to do just that. The divorce rate was 20% prior to women getting the "no fault divorce" pushed through. Within two years, the divorce rate hit 45%. The divorce rate where the women looks after the house, and the man works is still at 10%!

Studies have shown that barren women are miserable, thought they would be fulfilled in a career without children, and a man. They are not happy, now there is a backlash against anything male, because males are happy and women are not. They took a survey of 100k women and men in 1970 and present. What they found was shocking, men are relatively the same in happiness, while women are 20% more unhappy! With a culture that medicates for everything, notice how many boys they give Ritalin to and how many miserable barren women flood their bodies with meds! Yikes! Can't find happiness chasing the socialist dream now can you?
This is free speech and if you women think you live in a free land, prove it by not deleting anything you don't agree with! I challenge you, prove to me you can debate on the issues and not hide behind you ideas, in you buildings, behind your masks! Don't fight like a coward! I challenge you will all my might, to prove to me, that you are not as weak as I suspected!

Hey judge, jury and conviction. No DNA, just another lying woman.

Feminists believe that only 2% of rape charges are false. I believe only 3% of rapes actually happened. The rest are exaggerations and attention spamming.

Hey, did you read the part where I said "If any of the tests come back positive..."? Apparently not. Please read the post again, this time with attention to detail. The remainder of the post was in that context. Furthermore, not all the DNA tests have come back yet. If you read the articles again with attention to detail, I'm sure you'll discover that fact as well. Your attention to detail is clearly lacking anyway, as you couldn't seem to figure out that one of the posts you commented on earlier with the salutation "Ladies" was posted by Jon who, in fact, is not a lady of any sort. I'm just saying - Jon's not a woman's name. So to clarify, Lesley (me) is a woman. Jon is a man. If you see the name Lesley under a post, then it was posted by a woman. If you see the name Jon, it was posted by a man.

With respect to the 2% number, I can't speak to what "feminists" believe. I only maintain responsibility for what I believe. I tend to go with the FBI's 8% number. I find it quite ironic that in another comment you refer to feminism as a "marxist movement", which is clearly meant as a pejorative leading one to believe that you do not consider yourself a marxist, but then come around and make claims about what "feminists" believe. I'm sorry, where's the individualism in that? It doesn't exist. Hey, here's a concept for you - feminists are individuals. Feminists do not all think alike. Individual feminists are not responsible for what other feminists may believe. If you really believe otherwise, I have to question who the marxist here is. Because it sure as hell ain't me. I'm one of the few people in this country who actually has voted for the Libertarian candidate. For President and all. More than once. And while some people may find that odd and creepy, it surely isn't marxist.

As for your 3% number, either back it up or leave me be. Actually, you know what? Just leave me be. You say you want a "debate", but you just insult women. I'm simply not going to debate insults. So don't come to my space and be insulting to me or the rest of my gender. I have absolutely not insulted men in general anywhere on this blog, so don't even try to pull that card. This comment of yours will stand as well. However, if you continue to be insulting, no further ones will. Consider yourself warned. If you just want to be a jerk, do it in your own space. Mine is not available to you for those purposes.

Verlch, you were warned about insulting me. You didn't listen. Your last comment was, therefore, deleted. Feel free to insult me in your own space, but don't come to mine to do it.

Proof feminists delete that which they do not agree with or comprehend.

Keep showing me I'm right!!!

Verlch, no one is welcome to call me a murderer in my space. If you cannot grasp that simple basic fact of civility, then there is nothing left to say. Fine, consider it all the proof that you like that you're right. If that is how twisted your world view, have at it. Now go away. Anyone reasonable would comprehend my deleting a comment which called me a murderer anyway. Clearly you are not reasonable. Go be unreasonable in your own space or in a public space.

Bye.

Verlech, I can see that any attempt to reason with you is pointless. Lesley never said that all men are rapists. She never said that the Duke players are guilty. She said that they should be charged with rape if the tests came back negative. Anyway, I am wasting keystrokes since you won't listen and are clearly one angry person. Consider me childish as I am now the one censoring you for again calling my sister a murderer. Comment deleted.

NC AG Roy Cooper: "We believe that these cases were the result of a tragic rush to accuse and a failure to verify serious allegations."

Cooper: "We have no credible evidence that an attack occurred."

Cooper:

In this case, with the weight of the state behind him, the Durham district attorney pushed forward unchecked. There were many points in the case where caution would have served justice better than bravado.

snip

Accused player Reid Seligman:

The Duke lacrosse case has shown that our society has lost sight of the most fundamental principle of our legal system: the presumption of innocence.

snip

But in bringing charges, Mr. Nifong discounted evidence of innocence. . . and relied almost entirely on the woman's photo identification of the three suspects. . . . The photo lineup was riddled with errors and contradictions and appeared to violate Durham, state and federal guidelines.

Cooper:

No D.N.A. confirms the accuser's story. No other witnesses confirm her story. Other evidence contradicts her story. She contradicts herself.

In the end, right was done, but justice has not been served.
