Let's pretend that RIM loses the suit against it by NTP. Let's pretend that Blackberry service gets shut down.
What's the big deal? So people won't be able to receive their e-mails instantaneously unless they're at their computer? I don't know, we all managed to live just fine that way, oh, say, three years ago.

One of the commercials during the rigged game tday was this guy talking about the "good old days" when you had to go to the internet to check on scores.

It's a very big deal in the sense that the reason I bought a Blackberry was for the push technology. If I wanted to do it the other way, I would have bought something else!
