Oh No They Did Not
Astronomers have named the possible 10th planet in our solar system after a television warrior princess? I mean, Xena? Is this really what we've come to? I even watched the show, but still.
Although how cute is it that it may have a little moon they've now nicknamed Gabrielle?

Xena is merely the feminine form of xeno, or 'foreigner' or 'stranger' in Greek.

Well you know Greek/Roman Goddess names would indicate a breach of the wall of seperation between church and state. But a softcore lesbian porn actress turned modern day feminist secular entertainment goddess, well now that is perfect for our decdant MTV culture. It is a great example of the crumbling of traditional values, the failure of our public eduation system and the destruction of the reverence once held for the traditions of our cultural roots.
(drip drip drip ... that is the sarcasm dripping off my comment)
