Book 'Em, Dano!

Memes to the rescue. This one via Michele.

So, what fiction did you read as a teen/young adult that you have re-read as an adult (or would like to)? What pieces of fiction meant something to you? Put up your list, and pass it on to 2-3 people.

Easy! All books I read as a teen/young adult that I have re-read as an adult.

The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle
The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
The Wizard of Earthsea trilogy by Ursula K. LeGuin (I have read the fourth book, but since it didn't come out when I was a teen, I only first read it as an adult)
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll

Feel free to post our own list.

The Methuselahs Children series by Heinlen
Incarnations of Immortality by Piers Anthony
After the movie came out I re-read the Count of Monte Cristo

And I just re-read Papillon, although there is some debate about how much of that one is fiction, is it classified as a novel?

In no particular order

"The Lord of the Rings", Tolkien

"The Count of Monte Cristo", Dumas. The first novel I ever completed.

"Stranger In A Strange Land", Hienlien. I've read this one five times and I'm do for another read.

"The Stand", King. This one counts if I stretch 20 to young adulthood.

"East of Eden", Steinbeck.

"The Shining", more King.

"The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass", Carroll.

"The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant", Donaldson.

"Harvest Home" Tryon.

I've been trying to remember the title of A "Wrinkle in Time" for years. I loved that book as a kid. Thanks Lesley, now that I'm armed with a title I can locate and reread.
