Sounds to me like Bernie was just a good ol' boy,
a gambler, he played "Motel Monoply", then he went for "Telecom Monoply" If he didn't use his e-mail, then I say they gave him too much power and money (the directors). He sure made a mess, hard work for the worker bees of WCOM, who had to work long hours making sense of all the acquisitions he made to build that big tower of cards, and when it collasped it fell hard. Bernie will reap what he has sown.
