That was a cool series, though I always figured death should have been higher ranked than he was.

But who else you gonna start a series with and grab enough of a following to sell the rest of the series? Gaea? Wouldn't happen. Being a Green Mother doesn't have the same power as On a Pale Horse. (And what would that girl in Pale Rider be reading to introduce us to Gaea?)

The fates? Nope, needed death introduced beforehand for the scene where the Atropos was snipping the wrong end of the string. Speaking of the fates, if you were to cast a mini-series based upon the book series, who would you have for Clotho (weaves), Lachesis (measures) and Atropos (cuts)? I have Lucy Liu as Atropos.
