The Warmest Sweater
I am about to head out into the frozen tundra of New York. But I will have my Icelandic sweater to keep me warm. Sure, it set me back about $200, but it's worth every penny.

He had one with a hood at age six, which I knitted using the same patterns, made from light gray and mushroom wool. Jon, do you remember it?
I won't ask Lesley if she remembers the white and light blue hooded poncho I made for her.

On some level I must remember it because the sweater I bought is mushroom brown. Click on products and go to page 2 for the mushroom sweater.

Well, I do remember it, and quite well. Look, at the time, ponchos were quite fashionable. Was the 70s a decade of fashion that should never have been? Sure. But we should all be forgiven for having worn elephant pants, platform shoes, and the like at that time.
I won't be so kind to those who saw fit to bring back the fashions of the 70s in later years.

80's fashions and hair styles weren't much better. I both laugh and cringe at the same time whenever I watch a "I love the 80's" episode on VH1.
