Haven't these people ever heard the saying, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." Let the kids have their fun for crying out loud. Rest and relaxation - the occasional fun break - are as important to learning and work as learning and work are.

Busybody killjoys didn't want to offend the wiccans, that was the reason played up by the local papers and TV stations.
Actually they haven't had during school hours Hlloween parties for years, didn't want to lose another educational day. They still okay afterschool parties for any school that wants to. You make the call. Are during schooltime Halloween celebrations that important? This story doesn't really get me all fired up, oneway or the other.
