Vote - Cult Comics Turned Movie
The other day I watched Men in Black again. It got me to thinking about the various cult comics that have been successfully turned into movies in recent years. My personal favorite is Ghost World, and Undcover Brother is a riot. What's your take? Vote below. (If I missed your favorite, just add a comment to the entry.)

"From off the streets of Cleveland comes...AMERICAN SPLENDOR!"
Fantastic performance by Paul Giamatti...the scene where he and the actor playing Toby watch the real Harvey and Toby discuss jellybeans is one of the most breathtaking bits of cinema I've seen in the last 5 years. And it's about jellybeans, ferchristssake!

American Splendor is on my Walmart DVD queue. (You know that doesn't sound quite as cool as it's on my Netflix queue.)

Honorable mention to ROAD TO PERDITION (based on a graphic novel by Max Allen Collins and somebody else)---Paul Newman's best movie in years!
