Five Movies

Michele is listing five movies she not only owns, but watches regularly, which she shouldn't admit to, but she's braver than us so she will. Whew. Anyway, rather than clog up her comments (now at 83 and counting) with my list of five, I'll clog up my blog with it.

  1. Bring It On. I know, it's a cheesy cheerleader film, but it's cute, dammit!
  2. Stargate. James Spader. And, as if that's not enough, the guy who plays Ra is really hot!
  3. Bubba Ho-tep. Elvis and a black guy who thinks he's JFK fight a mummy in southeast Texas.
  4. The Rocky Horror Picture Show. No one looks hotter in fishnets and a teddy than Tim Curry. At least not from my perspective.
  5. The Sound of Music. Yeah, well, I wouldn't have considered this a guilty pleasure, but with all the goings on about Mary Poppins fighting the Nazis and mentions of the "Julie Andrews treatment" over at The Rant, I guess I have to.

Comments

yay for Bring it On!

Oh Lord. I only have a few that I'm ashamed of, but they are well hidden.

1) Anne of Green Gables
2) Anne of Avonlea
3) Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Sarah Jessica Parker in the 80s.)

Now, who should really be hanging his head is my husband who loves the "Anne" movies more than I do!

I love Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea too. Although I haven't bought them on DVD.

Which begs the musical question, "can you get the Julie Andrews Treatment for simply mentioning the name Julie Andrews?
