Friday Cat Blogging
It's that time again!
Emma sleeping in her favorite box. I had opened the box to remove the book, and Emma immediately decided she wanted to claim this box as her own. She looked so comfortable, I decided to leave the box on the desk for her to sleep in.

Jane always wants to help me make the bed. And when I say help, I mean roll around on each layer of sheets as I put them on. Sure, I can take her off the bed to put on the sheets, but she gets right back on to recommence her rolling activities.

Datsa and Amy are also big on helping us make the bed, usually getting UNDER the sheet as we put it on.

Ah, but does anyone's cat find it necessary to FIGHT with the sheets and blankets in order to kill them? That's what my beautiful Marmalade always did, until he got so sick.

Phil does this too...heaven forbid that an uncat-scented sheet be on the bed for more than 2 seconds.

I managed to blog my cat and dog together! I think I might lose my man card if I keep posting picture on how cute they are . . . But cats really are adorable.

I used to keep an oval basket, about the size of a watermelon half, next to the dog dishes for my dog's toys - Boomer would nose through it and find whatever he wanted to play with. I glanced at the basket one day to find Buffy curled up in it - she had chosen to test it out when it was empty and decided it was perfect for sleeping in.
She kind of spills over the edges of it - she reminds me of Garfield tucked into his box....but apparently it's the most comfortable bed she could ever hope for. I think part of the charm it holds for her is knowing that she's ripped Boomer off of his toy storage basket.
