H-E-N-R-Y
I'm Enery the Eighth, I am
Enery the Eighth, I am, I am
I got married to the widow next door
She's been married seven times before
And every one was an Enery
She wouldn't have a Willie or a Sam
I'm her eighth old man, I'm Enery
Enery the Eighth, I am

LOL. Herman's Hermits, eh?
What brought this oldie to mind? It's way older than Herman and his Hermits though. Goes all the way back to English music hall, which is even older than vaudeville.
I love it, and it always makes me laugh. Thanks for posting it, luv.

I think of Matthew Swayze driving Whoopi Goldberg nuts in "Ghost" every time I hear that song.

I remember singing it when it first came out and I was 12. My mom loved it.
