Uru
Sadly Uru Live didn't get enough subscribers to make it work, so it went offline last Monday. Unfortunately I had not finished the game in the Prime (single player) version, only in Live, so when Live went offline, so did my game progress. I just finished the game again in Prime. Ubisoft is now promising expansion packs to the game, which will continue the story along the lines Live would have, just in single player mode. This is why I went to the trouble of finishing the game again. This time through I took a few more screenshots of the stunning graphics.

Lesley,
Well, the Yanks got Alex. It's nice that y'all like cast-off Mariners so much. ;-) Remember that the year after the Mariners traded A-Rod to Texas, the M's set an all-time single-season record for wins (well, tied it actually, but still...)
So, good luck with A-Rod. I hope he's worth all that money.
I'm looking forward to the season. Spring training is starting!
Hey, I have an idea (one I'll probably regret). If the Yankees win the World Series, I'll post an article on my blog admitting the clear superiority of the Yankees and praising George Steinbrenner as a baseball genius, IF and ONLY IF you'll post an article touting the superiority of the Mariners and praising Seattle as the true cultural capital of the U.S. should the Mariners win the Series. (I mean it should be obvious: Starbucks, Amazon.com, Microsoft, eBay, and many others are all Seattle-based companies). How about it? I'd say the odds are probably in your favor, so I'll more than likely end up doing the writing (and seeing the Yankees win would thrill my son, I'm ashamed to admit). Are you game for a friendly wager with a fellow blogger and unabashed Mariners fan? Admittedly, it's not as fun as taunting Red Sox fans, but isn't that kinda like shooting fish in a barrel? Whadya say?

Well, I'm not particularly thrilled about the A-Rod deal, except for its Red Sox taunting potential. But sure, I'm up for the bet you suggest. I don't know if the Yanks will win the World Series, but I feel fairly confident the Mariner's won't. You're on!
