Blogger's Block
I'm suffering from Blogger's Block right now. I'm trying to think about what to blog about and having just no luck.
I don't really want to blog about the fact that Mikey's approval ratings are now 42% (although 75% of voters still don't want him re-elected). Where's the fun in that for me?
I don't want to blog about the Yankees' loss. I still hate Jeff Weaver. Although my bet was always that this would go to 6 games, so I'm not wrong. Yet.
So for now, go enjoy other bloggers over at this week's Carnival of the Vanities hosted by Eric Berlin.

Actually I was kinda rooting for the Marlins yesterday. This means there will be a Game Six at Yankee Stadium, which should be fun to watch (not to mention chilly for those poor rich people in the stands!). Couldn't stay awake past the top of the 12th, though; did Weaver throw one of his patented hissies after the homer?

better hope your bet's wrong.
The last two are at home, but the Yanks will have a tough time winning both, especially the one Beckett starts.

Well obviously after Game 5, I hope my bet is wrong. Beckett is pitching Saturday on short rest and Pavano on Sunday on short rest, so don't count out anything. Did you learn nothing from the NLCS and ALCS? It could go either way.

If Beckett is throwing in game 6 (and I'm not sure I understand that one although I guess the Florida manager wanted Pavano on the mound again) I would say that's the one for the whole shabang. Yankees probably win game 7 and owe Garret Anderson and that Blaylock kid rings.
Be interesting to see if Clemens comes out of the bullpen in game 7 if Pettite or Mussina get hit off early. I'm assuming Weaver won't be available of course.

Clemens will be available to come out of the bullpen on Sunday if necessary. Wells, since he only pitched 1 inning last night, will also be available. I'm assuming he's spending the next two days working out those back spasms.
