Yankees Win!
Right now, Aaron Boone is my favorite Yankee! And Mo - You're the man! The man! I'm guessing MVP, baby, MVP.
And to all the Red Sox fans who told me that Pedro wouldn't lose twice, well, you were right. He got a no decision. But you also told me it was over before it was over. And for that I have one thing to say to you: 1918.
UPDATE: Indeed, Mo is the ALCS MVP. Gotta go to Mo!

Holy Cow! You think there actually is a curse?

True, Mo Rivera definitely pitched well, but in my opinion the hero of the game was Mussina. He came in and shut down what should have been a huge Sox rally.

I was very pleased with Moose too. But Mo went 3 innings, which he hasn't done in years, and saved the game.

By the way, are they killing you out in Red Sox nation tonight?

Agreed that Moose was the hero of the night. But Mo saved two games and won the last game by doing something no other closer could: pitch 3 scoreless frames with the World Series on the line. He's the MO.V.P.

Mea culpa Jason Giambi and Aaron Boone.

I won't argue with Rivera being the series MVP, but I'd still give the nod to Moose for being the hero of the game.
Fortunately, the Sox fans I ran into last night were too depressed to do anything else but mope. I still didn't wear my Yankees cap after the game though.
