Media Efficiency

Jay brings to my attention something I consider highly efficient. It allows me to avoid two things I don't like simultaneously - Football and Rush Limbaugh. Think of the time I'll save.

I just wonder how he's going to find football players to interview who've not only witnessed a partial birth abortion but lost the family farm due to liberal estate taxes.

I'm able to discuss politics on the web with folks & live a perfectly normal life interacting with all sorts of folks of all political stripes the other 23 or so hours of the day. Am I somehow an exception?

BTW, Lesley, being anti-NFL is downright un-American & I'm reporting you to Ashcroft. :)

I doubt you're the exception, Ricky, but I'm not sure what that has to do with the fact I don't like Rush Limbaugh. I don't like lots of entertainment figures. I particularly detest Viggo Mortensen, who is politically the polar opposite of Rush. Although I have a friend who is an avid horseman, and I know he's going to want to go see "Hidalgo", I'm not sure I can bring myself to sit through an entire movie with Viggo Mortensen without some other attraction like, say, Orlando Bloom or one of my all-time favorite actors, Ian McKellen. While "LOTR" offers those other attractions, "Hidalgo" does not.

Well, I was mostly just fooling around. I have my own list of people that I simply don't care to see/hear and it has nothing to do with politics (one being one of the most popular country singers whom I simply cannot listen to....dunno why).

And my wife doesn't care to hear Viggo Mortensen, either. However, looking at him is a different story. :)

Well, of course you can't listen to country singers! (ducks)
