I really had to laugh at this one, because just yesterday I was ranting and raving, to my wife, about taking my laptop and throwing it out the window the next time it freezes up. This, mind you, after I just fed it another 256 meg of ram - the ungrateful beast!
I can empathise....there have been many times when I wanted to toss my old Gateway into the Mohawk River and take up basket weaving or something. Damn infernal machine from hell! >:(
Maybe it's just a western thing, I have shot computers before.
Data Ganeral terminals
IBM
Gateway
Dell
Micron
and many generics, though they don't really qualify for trohpy status
Maybe that is why mine behave - most of the time - when I say "I swear I will kill you you digital bastard" it knows I mean it. I find threatening it with close proximity to a magnet works well too, though magnets don't give you the personal satisfaction a 12 guage does when it explores the inner workings of a Dell. "Dude you're getting a shell!"
